The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team held their annual Spring Gold-White Game at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday with Team Wreck 'Em beating Team Swarm, 42-24. There was a good bit of high-paced offense in this one, as Zach Pyron and Haynes King looked good and found explosive playmakers throughout the game. Malik Rutherford led the way with 154 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns in the game while Avery Boyd only had 2 catches, but they both were for impressive touchdowns. D.J. Moore and Christian Leary both made plays catching the ball while Trevor Cooley, Dontae Smith, Evan Dickens and Jamie Felix ran the ball well behind what looks to be an improved offensive line.

I guess college teams are open to promoting excessive knee injuries now. No one is wearing knee pads and this appears to be a sense of fashion taking over from a sense of safety and protection.
