One day before my trip, news broke out about the Heathrow Airport shutdown. I was set to fly out on Friday March 21 and I was stressing about my very first world problem. Eventually I got there, boarded another flight to Stockholm and settled in nicely.

I took a day to myself to just decompress and do a little street photography with the Sony a7c ii around Gamla Stan (Old Town) before boarding my night train to Narvik, Norway. Be sure to subscribe for more photo walks / travel vlogs.

You can capture so much in Gamla Stan. The lighting changes so much through the day with the uniquely oriented streets and inclines/declines there’s a world of possibilities. The only place I really avoid is Järntorget, which is a big square surrounded by tourist trap restaurants.

You definitely should go back to Stockholm again, and spend atleast two-three days. It is an awesome city, and I think it is prettier and more interesting than Oslo. Looking forward to the train episode, the condensed version of an 18 hour train ride through outback Sweden!

I agree that 35mm is way better than 28, if I wanted wide I’d go either 17 or 12. Other than that 50, 200 & 320 are focal lengths I enjoy

Helpful! I'm going to Stockholm for the first time in May. I also used the 28 Viltrox in Paris very successfully, but will probably rely on my 24mm/1.8 Samyang mostly.
