I've been fortunate to see Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway over 30 times with my mother... and I saw Linda Eder portray this role incredibly, but I also had the pleasure of seeing Colleen Sexton perform it, but it had been a long time since I'd seen her portrayal. Watching this video took me back to those moments where I saw either Linda or Colleen in person performing this song, and all of the emotions I had seeing them live came back to me in this video and for that I will always be grateful. Both are incredible women, and incredible performers who brought this role to life with grace that can not be rivaled at all.

What a vocally demanding song, she is continually hitting high notes for more than a minute until the explosive ending... I Guess more than one throat has perished trying to sing this.

Her voice is very clear and pretty but more child-like than Linda Eder's. Also, she loses control at the loud, sustained high notes but brings it back when she transitions into vibrato. I love Linda but can see how each one can play this role in her own, unique way. Also, she's very beautiful.
