That's exactly the reason why Korean celebrities like Eric Nam, Jackson Wang comes across as cool individuals when they speak highly of the artists from their industry and does not shy away from speaking about the struggles and the baggage they have.🙌

Eric just affirmed what I and the rest of the I-armys have always known about BTS' rise to fame and/or success. 💜

this is so true. at that time, koreans downgraded BTS alot for coming from a small company. But they eventually become more acceptable as bangtan become a worldwide sensation.

Eric knows because he kind of watched them grew when he was still ASC host back when BTS was still rookies. He witnessed how they bloomed until to what and where they are today.

And that's why I love Eric and BTS💜

I have heard before that one of the reasons among others mentioned is that they are and always were respectful to everyone they met along their way.

One thing we should appreciate along with BTS hardwork is the support of bighit staff as well. With the great talent of BTS it's also their teams work that gave them this much success. Otherwise there are many many talented artists who debuted long back but still struggling to get the recognition they deserve. As armys we should appreciate both.

Not only did they work hard, but they gave out a message that says you should love and value yourself. That you are loved and appreciated by the group, and if you don't give up on them, they won't give up on you. Many, many people needed to hear that affirmation because the 'world' would beat them down. Depression and self loathing would take hold and here was a very talented group saying "we understand, we have gone through the same thing, but there is hope". More than anything, I think this is the connection with their Army.

Yep, exactly right, Eric. Nobody in Korea would even let BTS breathe the same air as EXO. So Bang PDnim, the smart man that he is, said ok, no problem. He took his boys to the States and had them train under different artists, then took them to other countries and let fans get up close and personal with the boys. It was International ARMY that got the momentum behind the boys that they needed! And I will never forget that first awards show when EXO lost to BTS. Even BTS was surprised! EXO-L’s collectively lost their minds and protested the awards show decision, but in the end, International fans put their shoulders in it and pushed back and insisted the decision stand because BTS DESERVED IT.
So hats off to I-Kpop fans around the world. For our boys of BTS, STRAY KIDS, TXT, SEVENTEEN and all the rest of them who put their lives and livelihood in our hands. Love you guys 😘

I think it is their sincere relationship with ARMY. ARMY's deep loyalty to BTS is a response to the love BTS has always shown to their fans.

I really like Eric as the big brother of so many kpop idols. He was a host on “After School Club” and he treated BTS with such kindness since before they were really popular. I trust in his sincerity. Also please listen to Eric’s music, he has a beautiful voice and his songs are really good! ❤💜.

This is what I love from Eric Nam, he knows how hard BTS work to get where they are now. Hard work pays off. That’s all i can say and they are all very humble and down to earth guys. No competition between them only love, trust and respect to each other.

Being US ARMY for 10yrs has me loving this man for realizing that millions of US ARMYs held BTS up on our shoulders for years before Korea finally embraced them as the pride of their country. ApoBangpo 4Life💜

Thats the thing l like about Eric ...many idols dont say that ...they r like Scared of Armies but dude Armies wont fight unless u provoke their idols ...nd ig every fandom does that ...its just army is a big fandom so it gets out too much we do love when u appreciate BTS properly...like dont be scared of them ...just be friendly with them ....and we will come supporting u

Thank you Eric for speaking this out. A LOT and I mean LOTS of people don’t know this truth. Haters thinks they make it easy but behind their success is always a story. People make fun of them cause they think their worthless and don’t deserve this title. But they deserve more than this title. The efforts they put in are unspeakable ❤

I’m a fan from before they blew up and I think it was their heavy social media presence that really did it. They were constantly on twitter and YouTube putting out content that was not just music related which made it really easy to get sucked in because there was so much content and interactions to explore. Plus starting with I need U their MVs had an extended story/theme that went on for years that fans had to create theories for and it made ARMY really interact and have fun together. I had never seen something like that with other groups.
