A proper warmup before workout is the only good Pre-workout we need.
Minimum 20 minutes should be given to warmup to activate central nervous system.

Don't drink caffeine guys! You can get 1-2 cups of coffee per day. Avoid coffee after 5 pm as it affects your circadian rhythm ( sleep -wake cycle which determines when you get sleepy) Also no more than 200mg per day intake of caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant it increases your BP and the load on your heart. Plus if the person don't take ORS or any rehydration drink during heavy workout he/she loses Na+ and K+ leading to arrythmias ( irregular heart rhythm leading to heart attack). Also don't do crash diet and vegan diets. Your body needs some parameters to be maintained. I've been lifting since 2014 and go to gym with ORS everyday. Don't do ego lifting, one vertebra disc bulge and you will be bedridden for months. Keep the grind on! - (PS : I'm a cardiologist)

Is it ok to have 1 cup black coffee before workout? i just mix one small sachet (2 rupee ones) in lukewarm water and drink it..

I took preworkout Dr choice pro x 5 today. This was my first time. I don't usually take preworkout and I am very energetic and I can exercise for a longer duration compared to normal person. I took this preworkout because my friend told me to give it a try. within 10 minutes I was feeling breathless. My resting heart beat which is 50-60 went to 160+. I though I will die. I was not able to breath properly and I was losing consciousness. it's better to avoid preworkout.

Pre workout is only for days when you're extremely tired. If someone's taking pre workout for every workout session then they're really weak, both mentally as well as physically.
