This is Part II of the Texas Red Oak where Devin shows the soul of the tree & talks a bit more about #AdaptiveTreeReUse projects that the Texas Urban Sawmill offers to both residential and commercial customs across all of Texas & beyond. Devin serves as the President of the Urban Wood Network - Texas Chapter and volunteers his time to advocate for urban wood use.

Devin Ginther founded the Texas Urban Sawmill in 2018 in Dripping Springs, just west of Austin, Texas. Devin also volunteers his personal time as the 2021-2023 President of the Urban Wood Network - Texas Chapter which is a non-profit urban wood advocacy group. The Texas Urban Sawmill or "TUS" is the largest urban sawmill in Texas focused on re-purposing older growth trees. We specialize in the reuse of historical trees, especially those with immense sentimental value, which we transport, mill & kiln dry in order to produce a variety of urban lumber products that are intended to be enjoyed by future generations! Of course, we also sell lumber and live edge slabs directly to the public. We also will custom mill logs and provide kiln drying services for any type of custom residential and commercial project!! No one is Texas deals with more challenging removals or larger sawmill & adaptive tree re-use projects.
