NYC, Boston and ANY city in New Jersey. It's practically an artform.

Born and brought up in Massachusetts, I do believe profanity was a mandatory requirement in the start of grammar school. The schools back in the day they were bi-lingual environment we use profanity constantly. The satisfaction of stringing together 2/3 languages with a pinch of profanity sprinkled in between every other word was a work of art. Every word spoken to man and even made up ones that sound like church bells ringing. I would lay awake at night inventing unique ways to string profanities together that would earn an A+ from the teacher supervising the play ground. Profanity was basically the only thing I had stuck with for 60 years, never giving up and perfecting my art. 😂

I grew up in and have lived in Ohio most of my life. We used to have a classification called "Shop talk" for the use of profanity. However I had a grandfather who told all his grandkids. "The use of profanity shows that you lack the intelligence to express yourself in a civil way".

Not surprised to see Philly on the list. Was surprised there wasn't a Jersey or NY city mentioned. Love the HR visit stats!

WAIT…. Yesterday Briggs has Columbus, Ohio as #1 for good jobs in the tech industry. Today Briggs has Columbus, Ohio #1 for profanity. Anybody else see a pattern here? Swear a lot… get a good tech job. F’ing yeah!!

I’m about an hour south of Columbus and drive to Columbus daily. When I saw this, I knew Columbus would be at the top. Doesn’t surprise me one bit at all.

My mother, a Marilyn Monroe twin and retired Boeing worker(Seattle )came to Sioux falls for a visit and I had to tell her a couple of times that people don't swear here 😅

I grew up in NE Ohio and it was pretty common to hear people tell stories like this: "f*ckin... you know what I'm saying? Stopped at the f*ckin Speedway on the way home and there's a f*ckin cop just sitting there in the store eating a f*ckin donut. Like how f*ckin cliche is that f*ckin sh*t?"

Philly has perfected it to an art form. I'm just outside the city.
