I was using a GPX2, got a Viper v3 pro and I haven't stopped, the side buttons are so much better.

The pronunciation so clear i didnt even realise i had left it on x1.5. Mouse looks great but at 180e in Europe I've got many other options for almost half the cost.

With that being said. Every mouse got put back in the drawer after playing with the Viper V3 Pro for only an hour. I love everything about it. I love the fact that you can use the auto polling rate change when in game. I use it at 500Hz on desktop to save on battery life and 2k in-game. I only play at 144fps so anything above 2k is really just unnecessary. I also have VERY dry hands. This pretty much forces me to use grip tape on every mouse I've used that didn't already have rubber side grips. The coating the V3 comes with is incredible for me. So nice and sticky even on the black version. I adore this mouse. Best 160$ I've spent in a LONG time!. Great review btw! V3 Pro is a banger for sure.

Auto exposure is having a tough time switching from the white mouse to the black pad. Set exposure manually for videos like this to avoid exposure swings.

Quick tip for all you new Viper v3 pro owners out there. Dav3 skates fit perfectly on the viper v3 pro. I just put an extra set of x-raypad obsidian skates on mine and it’s wonderful!

I like mine, I had suttering/liftoff issues with my black one and recently got a white one. It’s a much better mouse than the ULX and GPX 2, but I will never sell my GPX 2 as it’s on another level for shape/comfort/control. Battery on the viper v3 is amazing, I can play for hours and only drop 1-2%, whereas the GPX 2 will drop much faster.

I'd say the Viper V2 Pro shape is less claw grip that fingertip, the V3 is better not only for palm but also for claw because the increased rear hump angle

2k hz is the play. I love this mouse a ton. Only thing i like more about my gpx is the shape... If only the gpx2 didnt have spinout, crappy scroll wheel, the worst switches, side buttons that worked, skates that arnt trash, and software that didnt brake id probably keep using it...

Thank you for this I’m always a palm grip player and not really aggressive claw grip. People are usually using 1000hz polling rate. How’s the stains for the white color?

About polling rate i manage to hit 7600 Hz polling rate on 1600 dpi (that my current dpi and im not moving to lower or higher dpi) and it was so hard to hit 7600 Hz. Im not flexing i did that on Aorus 4090 Master and i9 13900k. You are right Razer are so much a head now. Im gonna hit subscribe button now. One of the best reviews atm !

I bought the V3. My main is the DAV3.

The shape of the V3 is weird. I don't understand the purpose of the inward sloping sides. My guess is that is to prevent slippage, but at these weights, slippage just doesn't happen.

The worst part about the V3 is how low to the ground it is . Finger drag is hard to avoid unless I scrunch my fingers.

Can someone tell me what is the appeal ? Why not get the more comfortable DAV3 with 8g more weight ?

Do high end mouse end up getting double click issue in less than a year with fair amount of use in your opinion? Im thinking about getting this mouse as a first high end mouse, i used to have cheap mouse razer mouse which end up getting double click issue on side buttons and scroll wheel going down when scrolling up in 6 months to 1 year
