On first announcement, I wasn't sure if I was going to like Adam Warlock's playstyle, but I've been fairly impressed thus far. Even though he's only a 2-star difficulty rating, that feels a little deceptive as I do think he requires a lot more practice, awareness and strategy to use his abilities properly, compared to some of the other Strategists. He doesn't have the raw healing of Luna Snow or the passive value of Rocket, for instance.

they didnt lie to us, there is no such thing as a "healer" class in this game and they said that right out the gate, there are characters that have healing abilities, they are not "healers"

the best way i found to play adam is peeling for your other support and helping flankers win their 1v1s

So basically Zenyatta. No mobility but high burst damage. With mercy revive being his gimmick

Use the right click like you would Zen in OW. Ive found ALOT of value by volleying my right click in chokes and its bound to pop someone to get a pick

Yeah Adam’s a bit of an oddball for me. He doesn’t have a super consistent healing ability (it has limited charges) wheras people like Loki, Rocket, Luna Snow, have a consistent and always available healing ability. Now, it does have low cooldown, but still, Adam I feel is a good SECONDARY healer, since he mostly focuses on reviving, while the other healer can mostly focus on healing with Adam just helping out where needed. His damage is impressive but also hard to hit imo

I liked holding his right click then peek and get some hits. it holds a fair amount of time and can burst heal from a quick peek

i love adam warlock, hes definitely my main currently. main reason is he's easy to play, his heals are basically auto target. only really hard thing about him is hitting his attacks and when to use revive.
