I absolutely love this song and regarding who the song is about, how badly Rihanna was hurt by that person, telling another person to get over their pain, no matter how long it has been since their relationship has been finished, one cannot shut their emotions off like a switch, especially when that person was actually in love and didn't just say the word love to say it but truly was in love and loved that person with every fiber of their being. Grieving true love, is a process and when a person hurts you, in the way Rihanna was hurt, it's not easily moved past, forgotten and feels like the death of the person she loves but she grieved that relationship in her way, in her own time and is now happy, in a relationship and has a precious baby boy. Never rush a person that is experiencing their own heartbreak, especially if it doesn't effect your life personally and have some empathy.
