Would’ve been cool if the idea of a Manchu country caught sooner so then whenever people talk about all the things that come out of Japan, Korea, Or China, we’d also be talking about the things that come out of Manchuria. And because the Tungusic languages are quite internationally obscure now, it’d be cool for them to have atleast one country. The best we can hope for is that Manchu becomes a co-official language alongside Mandarin in Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang.

Manchuria is not a puppet state, do not falsely lead people. Manchurian conquered Chinese mainland parts, Mongolia, Xinjiang, and Tibet in the 17th century. So before the Chinese Qing dynasty, Manchurian people lived in their lands for thousands of years, The Manchurian people got the last Qing emperor Puyi to be their emperor to establish a new nation Manchukuo was very understandable. Even if Japan helped them, it was way better than the Chinese people controlling that land.
