I've got a ST-9 Super Tube Sceamer I bought new in 1984 for (UK) 45 Pounds. I still have the box too. A great and fairly rare pedal that I'll never sell.

What is going on with that guitar?? Did you find it at the bottom of a lake or use it as a boat oar?
Good Tube Screamer video.👍🤙

I was liking the TS10 over the TS9. But once you made some adjustments on the TS10, the TS9 sounded better. The 808, especially the first one, was the loudest of the bunch which made it sound superior.

If one wants to touch this guitar he must have a good immune system and by the way amazing Amp!

These pedals are not very different. I love the effects but the most important part are your fingers that play the guitar... There are some other great pedals on the market that can bring also some magic in the guitar sound, but it always depends on the guitar player.

All sounds good.
Thing is, even in the '80s, it could be a shot in the dark, much like EH stuff...all good, some great.
man, CryBaby for $25.00 in '76. Killer.
Sold everything then all in.
Look for a real Cry Baby after various POS's in the late '90s.
"I'll take it".
no you get a new one...
Get 'it' home and the dang thing is falling apart.
the replacement, still here and works.
Sorta similar TS thing with family. Maybe the store TS9 was a good one.
He gigged later so not all bad.

Volume was the only difference I could detect. The second pedal seemed the lowest and was my least favorite. But a minor adjustment to any of these pedals would leave them indistinguishable to 99.999% of us.

You don’t do pedals sound tests with pedals one after the other. Come on man you don’t do this since yesterday!!!! They are buffered. Each one influences the sound of the other.
