Coronavirus: it's social distancing for the pandas and chimps at Edinburgh Zoo - BBC News

Like most attractions across the UK, zoos have had to close during the coronavirus pandemic.

Edinburgh Zoo is under strict lockdown. And while the keepers are trying to maintain normal routines for their animals, they are having to take some special precautions.

I'm from Colorado, USA and mountain lions and bears are routinely being tranquilized and killed because humans invaded the little habitats animals have left.

They are really not in their natural habitat its a facsimile. But I think they are happy. I love the Scottish Accent too having been to that area many years ago as tourist. I know zoos are controversial. I don't really know how I feel about them when it comes to very large animals that need to roam, but the animals awesomeness can't be be denied.
