I Used AI to Create a Children's Book (ChatGPT + Midjourney V4)

I wanted to create a custom children's book for my kids, to teach them a very important lesson. But I can't write, and I can't draw, so I tried my luck with AI.
I used OpenAI's chatGPT to write the text, and then I tried to illustrate it with Midjourney V4, which is an ai art generator.

My daughter Naia loves children's books, and I love reading them for her.
Children's books are a great way to teach kids important lessons, and creating a custom book for them was such a fun thing to do.

OpenAI's ChatGPT app has been the hottest topic the past few months. Everyone's talking about artificial intelligence these days, and the internet is full of tutorials on how you can use AI to increase productivity or make money. But with this project, I wanted to see how far I could push it with creativity. It was easy to write the text, but the biggest challenge was to find out how to use Midjourney to try to get a consistent style on the AI artworks. Every time I entered new Midjourney AI prompts, it creates the art from scratch, and I wasn't able to use carry the style over from one artwork to another.

There are a lot of moral and ethical issues with AI art, and I discuss some in this video. I think Chat GPT is already good enough to threaten people's jobs, and it will be interesting to see how things develop in the future.
I would never publish or sell this book, as I wouldn't want to compete with real writers and illustrators. For me, to make this custom and personal book for my kids would be impossible if it wasn't for these AI tools.
