Peace work is more urgent than ever. More than 80 million people are displaced, more conflicts due to climate change and a terrible war in Europe.

PAX is the largest peace organization in the Netherlands. We work with many courageous local activists in conflict zones. Areas ravaged by violence, or where societies have been disrupted. PAX is needed. Because of what is happening worldwide now.

PAX is a mix of researchers, activists and experts. We support female
peace activists in Iraq and Sudan, stand up for the victims of land grabs in Colombia, hold large companies accountable for peace responsibilities and investigate the far-reaching consequences of conflict on nature and the environment.

At the negotiating table we fight for a world without Killer Robots and cluster munitions. With ICAN, we received the Nobel Peace Prize for our role in the Global Nuclear Weapons Treaty.

You may remember us from the largest demonstrations ever in our country. And we will remain active in the Netherlands. We do this together with local peace activists, organizations and volunteers.

Together we work towards an inclusive and just society.
