So couple things wrong. Whitening toothpaste doesn’t whiten your teeth by sanding it down, because that would destroy your enamel and would be very painful. Whitening toothpaste uses the same stuff in all at home whitening solutions which is hydrogen peroxide. You can just buy a bottle of hydrogen peroxide, dilute it and then swish it (please watch a video or do research from a professional as it is quite dangerous to do if you do it wrong ) around and this will have similar results to those whitening toothpastes and strips.
