How Much I Spent On My Land Cruiser Cummins Swap (More Than I Expected)

This build actually was completed pretty quick for the amount of work that went into it. I didn't really even know how much I spent until I sat down and added everything up. Just wanted to make a quick guide/reference for anyone interested in doing the swap!

I bought a 1HD-T used in good running condition, but high mileage for just 1000 USD but I know that is a steal and don't come up often.

For this kind of money and work, why not an R2.8 over rebuilding an old 12 or 24 valve? Just curious.

I’m not sure how this works on a non vgt turbo so correct me if I’m wrong but removing the silencer ring can cause some issue like surging. I did it on a Cummins and ended up buying a new turbo.

Im really wanting to get a 12v 7bt p pump into my 91 fj80! Im going to try n do it for the cheapest possible. Meaning I'll just use the stock auto it came with. Does anyone know of someone who did this? And also is there an adapter anywhere to pull this off? I would love to have a mechanical engine and transmission.
