Navigation - Lefts and Rights
Fine motor skills - making the astronauts fly away in the flying saucer
Shapes - drawing a circle in the air
Language - making a swooshing sound

I've set this popular song to a funky Trance rhythm to build anticipation and engage the children. It also sounds "space" like! It really needs some disco lights as well, don't you think?

You could also spin around as each astronaut disappears. I tried this for the video, but was in danger of doing myself a mischief...

An excellent song for home, preschool or nurseries. It certainly goes down well with the children I visit.
