How To Sideload Applications On Oculus Go Step By Step Guide For Windows & Mac

In this step by step guide I show you how to sideload applications on Oculus Go! This sideloading guide will cover both Windows and Mac. After following this tutorial you will be able to install ADB and sideload apps on Oculus Go easily.

IF you get an error when typing ADB in cmd it may be because you are in the wrong directory, in cmd type: "CD C:\users\USERNAME" (change USERNAME for whatever your windows username is.
It took me a while to realise why it wasn't working. Thanks for the video!

Thank You Mike, you saved the day and were exactly right ...I tried the other adb download and had no luck .This tutorial was on point and works perfectly for me ! I am so hooked on VR and just got my feet wet today in sculpting in VR! I friggin love It !! I am an artist and just cannot tell you how long I have waited for this to manifest into reality! I have been testing out the different artist programs in VR and now with being able to connect to Steam I should have more of a selection of apps to try.Great Job !!

I just posted a comment about an error I had (and can't find it to edit it), but I figured it out.I was using the wrong type of apk. It worked when I used the arm-v7a version.

A tip on Mac. You can just type in “adb install “ and then drag the file into the terminal window. It will automatically put the correct directory listing to the file. Quick and easy way to not have to navigate around using “cd Downloads” or wherever you decide to save your apk’s
