Sometimes life events make the choice for you. For example, a parent may become very ill and choices to accommodate their needs have to be made (and quickly sometimes). Certainly not something you would want or planned for, but one example of how life makes the decisions necessary. Also, one decision may inadvertently lead to many other necessary decisions.
