The video was cut at the best part. So the Michelson Morley experiment was set up to count differences in light’s velocity coming from different directions, but no matter how the experiment was oriented, light seemed to travel at the same speed in all directions. If there was a medium like aether, Earth is probably moving with respect to that, and with this experiment we would have been able to measure the speed of aether. Nevertheless it turns out no such thing exists, light just propagates through empty space. Also the idea that light arrives with the same speed from all directions, even though the Earth is moving through space at some direction gave birth to Einstein’s axiom that light travels at the same speed in all frames of reference, an axiom upon which Special Relativity would be built upon later.

How in the world does light moving as a longitudinal wave move through a “not a medium”. This makes no sense, you can’t have waves in nothing, there has to be something that is waveable, or something that vibrates for us to measure a wave. They need to revisit Michelson and Morley. And clearly this is accepted in conventional physics, no one else is asking this question? What am I missing?

Due that the velocity of light was always the same, Lorentz tried to correct it and there appeared the equations that Einstein needed. x' = x - vt/√1- v²/c²

This has always seemed to me like mincing words and syntax. The concept is close, but instead of the aether occupying all of space, it's the fabric of space-time itself. The finite speed of light is due to the relative permittivity and permeability of space.

Last year, I have been to the place where they made the experiment. It felt like going back in time. The place is in Germany Berlin, "Leibniz-Institute für Astrophysik"or Astrophysical Observatory Postdam (AOP). There, you can also see the Einstein Tower and the Great Refractor.

Hello from Kazakhstan. If we add NEW 50% of the Michelson-Morley experiment, then it is “possible” to prove the postulates: 1. Light is an ordered vibration of gravitational quanta. 2. Dominant gravitational fields affect the speed of light in a vacuum, its direction and frequency of oscillations.
I need help co-creating an invention. The light in the device has a path of 9000 meters in a volume of 0.4/0.4/0.4 meters.
