To change your phone's navigation from buttons to swipe gestures, you can do the following:
Open Settings
Go to System Gestures or System Navigation
Select Gesture navigation
You can also adjust the sensitivity of the back gesture by tapping the Settings icon next to Gesture navigation. Use the Left edge and Right edge sliders to turn the sensitivity up or down.
Here are some gestures you can use with swipe navigation:
Swipe up from the bottom: Access apps
Swipe up from the bottom, hold, then let go: See your open apps
