When it comes to being Born Again, people often ask why the crucifixion was necessary. Here are the reasons why:

Atonement for Sin:
Jesus is seen as taking the place of sinners, bearing the punishment that was due to them. This is supported by Isaiah 53:5, which prophesies, "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”


Fulfillment of Prophecy:
Jesus' death is seen as fulfilling the righteous requirements of the Law, which humans could not fulfill due to their sinful nature. Romans 8:3-4 explains, "For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. Born again means 'born from above' born from the water which is from God above through a mothers womb. WE ARE ALL BORN AGAIN cause we had to be born of the flesh. We all started as and are all spirits inside and we will all return to spirit form when we die or when The Lord comes. Whichever sooner. God bless.

The Catholic Priest is consecrated by The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. He is the representation of Jesus. When we go to confession, we are not confessing our sins to a man but to Jesus Christ. Just like the Host is the Body of Christ. May our Saint Padre Pio be an example when he was a Roman Catholic Priest on Earth. This is our Catholic Orthodoxy.
