Alterium discography:

(2024) Of War And Flames

Born in late 2022, Alterium is made up of Nicoletta and former bandmates Paolo Campitelli (guitars) and Dario Gozzi (drums) from Kalidia, soon joined by Alessandro Mammola (guitars, also in Draconicon) and Luca Scalabrin (bass).

First album for this brand new Italian formation. Alterium, led by Nicoletta, asserts itself in Melodic Power Metal.

The 9 titles reflect the group proposed by Nicoletta, music that is sometimes energetic, sometimes melancholy.

From the first track, “Drag Me To Hell”, the rhythm is fast and is supported by a catchy chorus which should be a hit live.

“Of War And Flames” and “Firebringer” are typical power metal tracks that one would expect.

“Crossroads Inn” is a more folkloric song whose clip shows us the group in a very nice tavern.

For each Power group, its ballad, “Crystalline”, a piece full of sweetness and emotion whose melody reminds me of “While your lips are still red” by Nightwish.

"Siren's call" and "Of war and flames" are equally successful pieces and hit the nail on the head.

Note the cover of Sabaton “Bismark” which was also successful.
The musicians are in place and Nicoletta Rosellini's voice is simply majective!

A successful first album, whose future looks promising!
