Multiplication Using the Partial Products Strategy

Показать описание
Common Core math is not so "common" especially when it comes to the way multiplication is taught in schools today. According to Common Core standards multiplication using the traditional algorithm is not taught until the 5th grade. Students are taught other strategies such as the area/array model and partial products. This video models for parents and teachers how to teach multiplication using the partial products strategy to multiply 2 by 1, 3 by 1 and 4 by 1 digit numbers.
