When they showed it on TV the angle was the opposite way. It looked like his hands hit the mat before his head, but this angle shows what really happened. Props to him for rolling back in the ring for the pin.

When I watched this live, I was thinking Lance was supposed to win this and we’d get a Danielson vs Lance match in the next round. Obviously Danielson wins but the match would have given Lance a push. Bryan vs Lance would have 100% been a more intriguing matchup than Bryan vs Eddie.

My theory: sometimes when performing you might get caught up in the moment or somethings bothering you that shifts your focus. That's what I think happened here.
