Atop the rafters of the Prehevil Church roam the Pillarmen, hulking Monsters whose only desire is to ram bludgeon the characters. They make navigating the narrow planks difficult, and they have a coin flip which if failed will result in them knocking you off the rafters causing you to fall and take extra damage. However, they do have a glaring weakness as one of their abs will have something moving beneath it which you can see when highlighting it to attack. Doing otherworldly damage or enough physical damage to the specific ab will cause the Pillarman to collapse and instantly die at the end of the turn. We also find a few Pillarman underneath the church and their name is a reference to the Pillarmen of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.

I just realized. The specific pillarmen they are designed from is Wamu during his last fight with Joseph. Blind and square top.

Acording to Miro, the role of the pillarman outside the festival was scream in the church being tied to the pilars. And they are not afected by the moonscorch at all because never touch the sunlight (Or the moonlight, i guess). Lets not blame perkele for everything, prehevil was a complete madness way before the arrival of that.

They're weirdly not nearly as dangerous as they look. All regular attacks are really weak, they can be one rounded very easily, and their coin-flip attack does a measly 20 points of damage (if I remember correctly.)
