Mark isn't going to give up on Rebecca. He understands that so long as Rebecca is alive there is hope. Mark has likely seen sides of Rebecca many of us haven't, that let him know underneath the addiction and mental illness is a whole person worthy of being saved. If Mark is willing to sit and wait until Rebecca is ready that is 100% his choice. Not everyone has the patience or strength to do what Mark does. And I for one commend him.

Once Rebecca sobers up he may not even want a sex change anymore. He is completely drugged out of his mind. He has no idea, at this point, what he really wants. It's scary that a lot of people actually agree that this is what he needs to get better. When Mark first had him on his channel Rebecca never talked about a sex change. It was overtime as he got deeper into his addiction that he started all this sex change talk. Anyone who says that is just his real feelings coming out has no idea how drugs can distort your mind. They completely change your whole personality.
