The owner of my local game store made soap filled with dice in hopes of encouraging his guests to smell better when they use the back room gaming tables lol

The spellbook is unironically AMAZING. I've used one for my last 3 spellcasters, and honestly, it makes figuring out your spells so much easier. If you have an easy way to track spell slots, it's perfect

The dunce cap is literally the cutest thing D&D.

Haha. I literally got the first one for a Christmas gift. It was a dunce cap and chair, plus a royalty crown and throne. And it came with a surprise set of dice thst were pink and glittery. The dice wearnt mentioned in the product, and it happens to be my dms fsvourite color, so it was a very pleasent surprise.

The spell thing is nice, but I'm old (55) and my eyes suck so I have to print them out full sized so I can read them. Some of my character sheets, like a level 13 Warlock necromancer had probably 12 pages both sides because of not only all his spells, but also the stats of hit familiar, the skeletons, zombies, and specters he could summon, the elemental he could summon with his ring, and the 4 demons he typically summoned.

A good gift (not just a cheap stocking stuffer) is a nice DM screen, dice tray, dice tower, or set of nice dice. You can also get cheap but useable leather (usually goat) satchels that are great for holding your characters and books. They run around $35-$70 I also like the smaller Chessex that hold 14 miniatures for $18. I can fit 2 in my satchel and the dice take up 2 miniatures worth or spots. D&D books are always good.

I also 3D print and paint miniatures for characters. A decent Elegoo Mars 3 complete setup is about is about $350-$400 and at least one person in each D&D (or Warhammer) group should have one. They are pretty durable and will last for dozens of liters of resin printing (I have probably 40+ liters so far). You always have miniatures for all the enemies... and towns people... and animals... and trees and buildings...

Also show people how to have sites like Bing's AI site Copilot to make drawings of your character to add to your character sheet if you struggle drawing them. Copilot can help make maps and encounters, list of enemies, and even dungeons. They can HELP you, but you will find quickly there are huge limitations to what they can do.
