I find Sam Harris interesting because he has experienced the expanded consciousness and feelings of greater connection and compassion that come from deep meditation but he has chosen to view these experiences simply as natural organic functions of the human brain and not as something that exists outside of a person and that comes from, say, a higher source. He demonstrates to me that to be 'spiritual' can simply mean 'to be deeply human'. I have read a few of his books and I feel he tackles tricky societal issues with compassion and understanding.

I believe this video clearly shows me, in an almost spiritual, inspirational way, that clearly, for the first time, Sam Harris does not look like Ben Stiller anymore.

Love the very last comment by Mr. Brand. Identity is everything in marketing and I've come to realize that marketing is just manipulating, period (I'm a 17+ year professional). Needless to say, I'm now struggling with that identity as a marketing professional.

Judging by the variation of comments below just goes to show that we rub shoulders with advanced souls & new ones experiencing their human host here on earth.
There is no point arguing with finger pointing young souls. It’s like arguing with a teenager.
It’s mildly amusing but can be irritating reading comments from people who are so consumed by their first time down here.
It’s just a tour of duty which you asked for your challenges your facing in your life. Head down n crack on. It’s only 80 odd years and then you go home 👍

Sam Harris looked very calm and collected unlike Russel brand. I don't know why people hate Sam so much. Aren't we love? hypocrites. Maybe Sam is speaking some truth since people seem so bothered by him

I'm pretty sure the only way you could ever hate Sam Harris is if you just don't understand what he's saying. Almost everything he says is calm, articulate and logical. Disagreeing with him is one thing, but hating somebody like Harris is unreasonable.
