COVID Leads to President Biden Meeting Virtually with Irish Prime Minister | EWTN News Nightly

Each wearing a green tie with a shamrock bowl between them, President Joe Biden met virtually with Ireland's Prime Minister, Michael Martin, who said he's feeling good despite his COVID-19 infection. On this St. Patrick's Day, President Biden said, "We're meeting at a moment when demands on unity in the world are really accelerating. We have to be united, and we certainly are." In Ukraine, Russia continues its deadly invasion. In the city of Chernihiv in Northern Ukraine, a family of five, including 3 year old twins, were killed in what Ukrainian authorities said was a Russian strike. The president of Ukraine, trying to keep up moral, delivered flowers to a young patient in a hospital. President Biden also praised Ireland for taking in thousands of Ukrainian refugees.
