Disney+ and Marvel Studios have announced exciting details about Wonder Man, an upcoming addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the titular character. Meh. Part of making Wonder Man look hip and cool is that it ignores what a weiner Wonder Man was: with the big jacket, the dumb belt jets, and the dumb name (I mean, come on - "Wonder Man?") Now we have another colorless MCU costume and a generically low-key monotone-voiced super. Yawn. Wonder Man is much better suited to a hokey-violent series like Peacemaker.
