My cargo bike has v brake on rear wheel. I found a rear hub motor for disc brakes. Will it fit? I was thinking to just install it an ignore the disc mount. Is it possible or is there some important structural differences?

Thanks for making this video.. All the older bicycle frames I have are set up for v-brakes/ don't have disc brake mounting frame. The only thing I am concerned of is the wear to the rim from the v brakes.. Is this an issue and how do you know when to replace the rim?
