The Librarians: The Next Chapter - Mondays on TNT

“The Librarians: The Next Chapter,” the spinoff of the acclaimed original television and film franchise following the adventures of the custodians of a magical repository of the world’s most powerful and dangerous supernatural artifacts kicks off with a two-night premiere event starting on Sunday, May 25 on TNT.

Vikram Chamberlain (Callum McGowan), a “Librarian” from the past who time traveled from 1847 and now finds himself stuck in the present. When Vikram returns to his castle in Belgrade, Serbia and discovers that it is now a museum, he inadvertently releases magic across the continent. With the help of a new team of eclectic heroes, including a savant in world history, a scientific genius, and a highly skilled Guardian, Vikram has only six months to clean up the mess he made.

i saw that this would be out randomly a few months back onmy tv app and got so excited then saw that it got pushed back, i was like why would you do this to me! we're so back though, i am so excited! i have also been thinking about the liabrarians a lot lately because noah wyle is everywhere because of the pitt, and my friend is obsessed and i'm trying to sublimate this love into her watching the librarians lmao AND also because season 3 of leverage:redemtion is coming out soon and that has 2 librarians actor, all that to say, librarians on the mind, super hyped for this spin-off! and i liked that they added a time traveling element

Okay, i love the show and I'm excited that it's getting a sequel series, but is anybody else wondering if Flynn and Eve are in this? I mean, it'd be really sad if they met their ends not one decade after becoming immortal. I hope I'm not asking for too much, but i really hope that they're still around, just off to the sidelines.

Really have to wonder what role Jacob Stone is going to play in this series if neither Ezekiel nor Cassandra are around, nevermind the glaring absence of Flynn, Eve and Jenkins.

I can't believe how little known this series is when the whole thing is always such a banger. I keep trying to get people to watch it and describe it as "Dr. Who" mixed with "Indiana Jones". With all the lore and history behind it, I could absolutely see this as being equivalent to "Dr. Who" as a franchise, so I hope it finds more viewers because I want to see so much more from this series, like a series of older Librarians, new Librarians in other countries, and maybe even an origin story on how the Library was created in the first place. I rarely look forward to any TV show airing, even Supernatural I waited on each season rather than diving in... but this one has been put in my calendar and I plan to be there when the first episode airs. So excited for this!
