Stacks will help me greatly when I connect my laptop to different monitors at work and at home. Sometimes I have a two monitor setup and others I only have one and my desktop is always shifted and looks cluttered when I plug in just one monitor. Stacks can clean that up quickly to finish doing what I need to do and then take it back to normal when I reconnect to two monitors. Great tip!

This is so cool. I was able to check out hot corners and the pdf signature on my Mac desktop and they work great (I didn't even know they existed!). Since I don't have a trackpad I used the option where I could hold a written signature up to the display's camera and it worked like a charm.

My main computer is the 2021 M1 iMac (with the 24" 4.5K display). I just added one of my 1080p monitors to it as a second display and it was acting weird. When you showed the scaling feature for the displays, I was able to get my 32" monitor to look exactly like it should. Thank you for the video!

And you can change that scaling based upon the monitor when using an external. So you can have the external one scaling while leaving the screen on your MBP normal. Great Video, I had no idea about the signature!

I use unsplash for wallpapers too, I've got a massive folder with a ton of pics and have macOS cycle through them randomly whenever I wake the computer from sleep. that way I've always got a different wallpaper on my screen, plus it looks cool when you open the lid and the wallpaper changes.

When it comes to signing documents, if you have an iPad an Apple Pencil you can create and import the signature from the iPad. You can even do it using your iPhone and finger. It is an option in the menu when you go to create the signature if your iPad/iPhone is nearby and on the same Wi-Fi network.

Hot corners is one of the best non-default features. I use the bottom left for Launcher, which is way easier than tapping a dock icon or keyboard key

The hot corners feature also allows you to temporarily swipe away all your open windows to reveal your desktop and I’ve got it in my top right corner. That’s great cos you could have, say Pages, open, but you need to drag and drop a photo that’s on the desktop. Swipe too right to clear the screen, click and drag the photo to the top right, Pages comes back and I can drop the photo in. Also great for importing folders of images into Lightroom etc. By the way, I know how to make the paper boat that’s on Everyday’s wallpaper!

The high power mode is super cool but keep in mind that you need the 16-inch MacBook Pro AND the M1 Max in order to use the feature

You can easily lock your MacBook by pressing the fingerprint scanner button. It locks the MacBook immediately. Idk about the older models but the 14” and 16” has the fingerprint button and it’s clickable.
