Don't let Ragina take credit for taking action against the housing crisis. Her actions, even if positive, do not fall under the category of housing. They are for dwaling with poverty. In fact they will INCREASE housing cost. To those who don't understand how density housing effects real estate. A simplified example: if a plot of land can sustain 2 or 3 or 4 renters, then an investor wanting to maximize their profits could choose between multi-family housing where he gets rent from multiple people, or keep it a private family house, at a rent equal or close to that of 2-4 units. Some will tell you, there will be more housing, so the price will go down to attract the buyers that now have options... but before you were competing with people like you for a private house. These people are still going to compete with you on family houses, they already didn't buy apartments and multi-family housing. In fact you'll increase competition, with financing options and down payment encouragements. Regina seem intent to not do what is necessary. Build more everywhere. Reduce regulatiom requirements. Tax put of state buyers who sit on a property for years without moving in or without intentions to go in. Remember, Regina only has a Bachelor's degree. She doesn't know what she it talking about.
