Who is Marvel's Mr. Immortal? The Only Known 'Homo Supreme' Being.

From the young Craig Hollis forming a hazardous bond with the cosmic entity Deathurge, losing those closest to him before learning that he is the only member of the next stage in human development known as Homo Supreme which makes him completely immortal, being able to quickly resurrect from any form of death that he endures, to founding and leading the quirky Great Lakes Avengers team; Let's take a look at this amazing next stage of Marvel superhero, and the most light-hearted true immortal in the Marvel Universe. This dude deserves a series just imagine a main character that keeps a pocket full of cyanide pills to kill and resurrect himself to instant heal. Just depends if it takes minutes or if it’s instant it’ll seem like a healing factor or it’ll be awkward waiting till he pops up.

Never, EVER underestimate members of the GLA. They've often been seen as the "also-rans", the guys who just don't have what it takes to be a full-on superhero. Something of a comedic aside to the more serious Avengers teams. Ignorance abundant, I say!

Just one example from a list too long to go into - Squirrel Girl kicked the crap out of Thanos, on his own turf. Granted, was a bit of a surprise attack & I doubt Thanos would have even considered this slip-of-a-girl with buck teeth and a fluffy tail to have the nuts to even throw a dirty look his way. She did though, and he felt it!

Fun Fact: This character actually inspired a creation that was brought to DC known as Resurrection Man, when the creators looked at Mr. Immortal and thought him having just immortality as a power was boring.

To me Mr. Immortal is one of those characters over looked / taken for granted, in other words we can just throw him in this one. Fantastic video, content and narration as always my brother New Sage. When I read the name I automatically started playing the Highlander theme song in my head ("I am immortal, I have inside of me blood of kings....). A rating of 8 is great, because if you turn it on its side, it's the symbol for infinity.
