Derevyanchenko basically had a 6-6 fight with Jacobs where a flash KD made the difference. People are underrating him now

GGG was nervous vs Jacobs and in BOTH Canelo fights. I also think that if Deveryanchenko makes it a competitive and tough fight early on, that GGG will be forced to fight another kind of fight that was anticipated and if that happens, I give good chances for us to get a close fight. GGG's defense and timing sounded bad vs Rolls. GGG got hit with punches that made him look bad tbh. Good thing though, GGG got his body punches back, BUT UP UNTIL NOW, when he is nervous, he doesn't use them with great conviction. This fight next Saturday will give us a lot of answers about where GGG stands right now.

They're trying to push this as another Gatti-Ward match, but I don't believe it - not these two.
It'll be a great technical fight though, & it'll definitely have it's moments.
It's one of the match-ups I've been looking forward to - & I hope Derevyanchenko gets a fair shake on the scorecards...& GGG too of course.


Good point about GGG's jab, & that's why I think he'll try to give a little bit of ground, sidestep punches, & try to pile up the points with his jab like he did against Lemueix & in the 2nd Canelo fight - he won't try to force the fight against this type of fighter - at least not right away

GGG's hook to the top of head is something sergy must look out for, Steve never really recovered from it.

It’s going to be like the Lemeiux fight, the Technician only knows how to box on the backfoot and whenever he tries to punch GGG will time him. The Technician was even outboxed in the IBF eliminator, and GGG is a far superior boxer than Culcay

Good breakdown, regards the jacobs vs Deveryanchenko fight, Golovkin made a good point. He said that whoever had the trainer in the corner, in this case Jacobs, wins that fight.
Regards the jacobs vs Golovkin fight I think Golovkin was apprehensive as he knew jacobs having skipped the same day weigh in probably outweighed him by 15 lbs as he was already the bigger guy and he knew jacobs has one punch knockout power..
I think Golovkin will stop Deveryanchenko in the mid to late rounds..
I agree outside Canelo and Andrade its next best opponent at 160..
I think Charlo would lose to him.

I'm just glad we still get to see this quality fight since GGG took the safer option of Vanes to focus on that Canelo rematch. 😃 Seriously hope winner unifies with Andrade which imo is another great fight either way. 🙂

Derevyanchenko spent quite a bit of time in the WSB, he has more pro experience than the official record shows and he's good.
