my diy installation of exhaust fan

Wouldn’t recommend this without proper ventilation, moisture will get sucked through the exhaust fan then will have nowhere to go leading to mold and a bunch of other problems. The wiring issue could be addressed also 😂

You did good job but careful on wire and moisture I’m just worry it will not exhaust properly . Not bad for first time Great job ! Maybe try adding fan to wall so it direct to outside the house.

Oh it seems very easy but in my home the ceiling is 0.6 feet pure concrete😐
I need a jack hammer for that.

Good job, I hope there are angles hiding in the ceiling to take the steam, smoke,oil. from kitchen to outerspace.Hopefull that external wire just on top of the burners wouldn't be affected because of heat from kitchen and ends up with short circuit...its just a hope

While the installation was fairly good you need someone to wire the fan to a wall switch. Also you will need duct work to vent the moisture outside. If it vents inside you'll have moisture and eventually mold.

This one only suitable for room or bathroom, for kitchen must put at window
