This track wasn't even slightly in Melimelo, was it? I only remember a couple of lighthearted new tracks, and scrunched-down WOFF tracks. Then again, I don't think I got this far...

Though I can't say I was too impressed by Maxima, I certainly do approve of the new music it brought. <3

Hope for us all we get a sequel, with sephirot, Garland, Kefka, and the other Villians in the story Mode. Of course with Kingdom Hearts Characters too. Image Sora, Roxas or Xehanort in this 😃 And I know, Sora is allready a limited Champion in the Game.

I might be the only one, but really, having played all Final Fantasy (I mean, the real ones, from Square, not Square Enix), this battle music feels extremely bland and generic.
Like, the composer(s) puts all the classic instrument and dramatic-like beats you would find in most other Final Fantasy games' tough battle, and made some generic rythm and beats that aren't really memorable... I mean... I'm listening to it right now, but I wouldn't be able to hum/singing it a hour later because that's how bland and forgettable it is...
Compare to so many WAAAYYY better "big boss fight" composition ( Sephiroth, Jenova, Edea, Ultimecia, Kuja, Necron, Seymour, Yu Yevon...) this one is shit... sorry, that's an objective fact...
Not that this music is the most horrible of all time, but damn... so generic, bland and forgettable... for a music on a game supposed to be a tribute to old FFs...

It just remind me how low and unskilled Square Enix actually is to produce Final Fantasy game on par with older title... (aside FF14, which is its one thing by itself, being a MMO... all FF game produced by Square Enix are on the lowest-tier of all Final Fantasy title... )
