Rishi Sunak has appeared to have dropped a huge hint that a general election is to be held in Autumn 2024. The Prime Minister published a video with the caption "what can a country achieve in 52 weeks? Watch this space." But 52 weeks is 52 weeks too long for Carol Vorderman.

The Countdown legend picks up three consonants, LBC, and takes over the microphone from James O'Brien.

Proportional representation, a ban on secondary incomes, full disclosure of family members business associations, an end of cronyism, investigations into fraud on government investments and more representative politics with MPs coming from community and public sector backgrounds, state schools and a better representation of young people. A full restoration of the taxation system, one that isn't unfairly aimed at burdening poorer people... and that is just based off 5 seconds of thinking...

We NEED PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION. We need to stop these majority governments doing whatever they want unchecked. The two party state needs to be broken into a true spectrum of opinion. And we need controls and standards of service on MPs and how they operate. We need complete political reform! And we need a GE now.
