Can Hydro Ban XP successfully be used over Schluter Kerdi band/seams and linear shower system prior to tiling for further water proofing?

Anyone know what the gentleman asked about the time considered to tile over an exterior waterproofing membrane ? The hydro ban guy said it would weaken the bond after 12 hours by 20%?
