To the Broomfield children, the lyricists and musicians who created this beautiful song, I send you a heartfelt thank you. Yesterday would've been my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, but they were separated by my father's passing not too long after their 20th anniversary. I have no doubt that they would still be together now if God had not called him home at that time. So, to commemorate what would've been their golden anniversary, I sent roses and a special card to my mother. If my mom was a wee bit more techno savy, I would've sent a link to your song to her, as well. It says everything I believe my father would say to her if he were here to speak those words.
You all obviously come from a very loving family, and your history of loving devotion shines through in your lyrics. And the fact that you all are willing to share your song with anyone who requests it...for FREE...says so much about you and the parents who raised you. So many people these days are out to make a quick buck. The Broomfield family's only purpose appears to be the spreading of true love. God bless you all for that. And God bless the long-married couple who inspired you. May they have many more happy years together!!!
