Star Wars: The Clone Wars 1x03 'Shadow of Malevolence' reaction & review

Hey everyone! Here's my reaction and review of Clone Wars 1x03! It was really interesting to see both Anakin and Grievous being really stubborn and set in their ways about how to handle the battle, but fortunately, Anakin listened to the people around him in the end! Sad that we lost some clone guys along the way, but the mission was an overall success, demonstrating that sometimes you have to be flexible in your plans and strategies! Also, can we all agree that Grievous is creepy?! Can't wait to see more! Enjoy! ~ MH

The thing with Anakin in movies is that they show the most crucial moments in his life, the most disturbing moments (leaving his mother and her death, fights with Dooku, conflicts with Jedi Council and Obi-Wan, his desperation to save Padme from death etc.). In TCW we all know that he's not going to turn evil, at least not completely. Here you have 120+ episodes mostly focused on Anakin and people close to him so there is a lot of time to develop the "good side" of his character.

I recently finished The Mandalorian, and I just finished your reactions to it. I’m excited to see your unique reactions to stuff later on since you watched The Mandalorian before this. Also, this episode does a great job showing why Anakin is kind of a war hero and why so many Clones rally behind him. Most Jedi don’t take it personally when their Clone troops die, but Anakin takes the death of every Clone very personally, which goes against the Jedi way of not having attachment to people.
