Apple TV 4K Review. A MASSIVE upgrade for your TV!

Welcome to Technology Paul! Today we’re going to review the new Apple TV 4K. This is Apple’s 3rd generation of the 4K Apple TV and it’s the 7th generation overall.

The Apple TV might be the best smart TV device on the market. But what have they done with their latest model? What new additions does it have and most importantly, is it worth the money?

Fellow Canadian and noticed your Sportsnet comments. I bought it specifically for this and noticed it is clear and smoother than any other app on any other platform for hockey. In fact, all the streaming apps seem to work better on this box than any other. I'm also addicted to real racing 3 and I'm planning to try out spatial audio with AirPod pro 2 or new powerbeats 2's when they come out.

Where are you from? In the US it is $129 & $149 for the 64Gb & 128Gb versions respectively. So why does your site have them listed at $50 more than Apple’s own retail pricing?

Hay Paul, I purchased 4x 2021 4k Apple TV’s for my house, they were half the price 2nd hand and work equally as well with all the features of the more expensive 2022 model, great video Cheers for Uk 🇬🇧

Watched this then ordered two tv-4K
I went with the base model for the bedroom and the high end model for the living room.

Do not buy if your older Apple TV still works fine. The new ones have software bugs. They don't synchronize properly and it turns off and on all by itself. I'm returning mine to best buy tomorrow. I put back my older Apple TV unit -- it works perfectly fine -- it's just quite a bit slower than the new ones.

Great review but Google TV dongle is much better. Voice recognition is way more useful than Siri. About 5 times cheaper too. There's no gaming with it, though.

If apple care about gaming the Apple would the m1. An seem like gaming I. iOS store can’t run on Apple TV. Why we don’t have tropico, civilization vi, Skyrim pinball, blades, fallout shelter and more. Because the game developer see a limitation with the hardware

Here’s where the Apple TV fails. The Netflix app is complete garbage. Heavily outdated. Not to mention Apples ridiculously high standards for apps which is why they don’t get the new features that other streaming devices do. I used an Apple TV for awhile. The picture was AMAZING but the Netflix app just killed it for me. Apple and Netflix clearly don’t get along and it shows.

Very disappointing device except for meaningless hardware upgrade. Apple’s sprit is getting to disappear…
