TeZ-X Spectrum Cisco Heat

Cisco Heat on the arcade was a thrill to play, the Speccy conversion on the other hand is not. For a £9.99 game I would have been very disappointed if I bought this back in the day. The red cop car is poorly done and it's very sluggish and feels broken. I'm glad I picked Twin Turbo V8 by Codemasters instead. That's how you do a red car🏎️

Some crazy colour clash! Agreed the red car is a bit pants. I remember the 90’ corners being a tad brutal. I had this on a demo disk (PC Format I think) and, being one of the very few games we had, played it time and time again. Cheers for stirring up some fab memories Tez! 😊👍🕹️

Been to Blackpool about 4 to 5 times now. Really enjoyed myself in the amusement arcades. Great fun!
As for this game.... it's a bit pants imo. There is a sense of speed but I hate the colour of the red car you're controlling. Graphics are okay-ish, but I won't pay full price for it though. One word....Pap! 😆

The graphics are nice, and the music is cool 😸👍, but the gameplay 🕹️...

For example, when i had turn to left or right across the road, that was hilariously frustrating 😹!

That red cars awful, totally spoils the game.
I think if they had stuck to monochrome like outrun and chase hq it would've played a lot better.
