After reading about the Los Angeles blackout and how they had to tear up a city block to identify and fix a chaffed high power underground cable, maybe burying lines is not such a great idea. It would be better off with better forest management.

In case of rain, you buy an umbrella, when it does rain they take it back and say 'We need this, its raining now'

What garbage is this? California wont allow insurance companies to cancel policies?

So if I build a house in the middle of a volcano the insurance company has to insure me for for fire?

Wow, I would never do business in California.

They wanted to have a house in the middle of the woods to have a view and nature but we have to flip the bill to help them insure it? Because sooner or later those people will have their hands out to the California state for aid.

What about live in a house in a non fire danger area? If California is just bailing out people who makes poor choices why dont we all just make idiotic decisions and then give stories to these news media so they can pressure for free hand outs.
