It doesn't make sense why a person name has to be changed in order to fit someone's language.

We need to speak their real names. Even our Lord deserves his real name to be spoken.

Hilarious! The book of ultimate truth uses fake names. Got it.

Then why change the names for the Bible??

Another good video, Mark. This video sort of touches on it, but how would you deal with someone in the "sacred name" movement who insists on the original pronunciation of The Father's Son's, and Spirit's names? I like how you bring up the name John at the end (and your own biblical name Mark) because they never say anything about those changes in pronunciation (at least not that I'm aware). I'm curious as to what you would say to such a person.

Very good ...I never knew this and I have been a Christian for 45 years. I'm glad you come up with such a variety of topics. Are you from Scotland or Ireland?

Thanks for the info! Do you know why some names are translated and some are not? Like why keep the original Old Testament names?

So why wasn't the Old Testament names translated in english (assuming they are in Hebrew)?

I believe in god whole the names are clearly European. Names don’t translate. When I’m in another country my name is the same. If I ask an Asian or African their name they won’t change it to Tommy because I’m American. There still aren’t guys named Peter or Matthew in the Nile valley to this day. I would like to know their actual names and not the name Europeans appointed during rewriting of the holy book. I feel those names came in around the same time the picture of a European was presented as being a picture of Jesus

Since when do you translate a personal name.using chocolate to make an apple is common but the product itself has nothing to do with apple's .its takes out the authenticity flavor taste and effects leaving you with just a disguise

I still don’t see why one’s name should be translated. Otherwise why aren’t some names translated as well? Such as Melchizedek, Ahab, etc?
