Used games are always awesome 👍🏻 this culture should never go away. Getting a used game disc for 3 bucks is such an amazing found. Or better yet you bought a new game played it then sell it in good condition.

To each their own and it’s awesome that a choice is available. It’s also helps spreading the cost of buying a PS5 into digital then being able to pay and upgrade to disc later.

the hotswap disc drive is really an amazing feature, if it breaks you can buy a new one and just install it without having to pay extra if you take it to a repair shop.

Physical is the only way to spend big money ! We have a close to 500 game Physical ps4 / ps5 collection I'd never spend that type of money on digital even if games where half price .

I have digital but im out of space and i didn’t know they sold the disk drive separately! I got digital because disk was sold out all the time (2021) and i was in desperate need of a ps5 lol physical games go on sale more than online so that was one of my downsides to digital

Physical is the way bro. I can literally buy Spiderman 2 AND Avatar now for just $74 total when each game costs $69.99 digitally right now😬 day & night difference.

Its up to individual preferences. There's no such as don't buy digital or disc version.

I love physical too, it's just so much better in all ways. It's fun to see a physical collection of your games since you can touch the boxes and the sense of "property" is much more authentic, and if you decide to stop playing videogames you just sell your console and your games whenever you want and if you spent like 400$ on discs in total you will be able to get back like half of it. I like the process of finding convenient physical games too, i prefer buying used games for economical purpose and it feels cool finding the cheapest affairs, talking with the vendor and finally buying the disc. Maybe it's just some weird oldschool approach and it will be limited in next-gen consoles, but I am glad they kept it in ps5 (sorry for all the text, just wanted to talk about how much i appreciate the discs)

I like the option of both digital and physical. I am a bargain shopper so I like finding the best deals for a game. For example when I was wanting to get RDR2 it was $60-$80 in the PS store and I checked at Walmart where it was $25 for physical copy. Game consoles and games aren’t exactly cheap so if your able to find discounts anywhere it’s worth it 😊

I regret buying digital, my brother bought it for me. He bought the digital because it was cheaper. I wish it wasn't a surprise cos i would've told him the benefits of disk. But I still am happy as I'm not a hardcore gamer. Playing with my friends and psplus is more than enough for me so I'm grateful
