If it's proof of anything it's that valve abandoned CSGO which is messed up since 95% of the playerbase is still there. It's also proof that when CS2 releases, it's going to replace CSGO immediately in terms of support. I'm sure the servers for CSGO will stay up for awhile if they keep the dual boot option but hopefully it's long enough to give people a chance to upgrade their PC's cause not everyone is going to have a PC strong enough to run CS2.

CS2 Season 1 of the premier competitive starts 23 september. Probabily 21 august release the open beta with new cs2 inferno and the 23 september the official global launch of CS2
